Dr. Emily Levy
Dr. Emily Levy is the executive director of the Knowledge Plus Tutoring Riverview location. She received her undergraduate degree from Brown University and later received her Master’s Degree in Special Education and her Doctorate Degree in Education.
She has been helping general and special education students thrive with research-based instruction for over twenty years.
Dr. Levy speaks regularly at educational conferences nationwide and appears frequently on podcasts about topics related to specialized learning needs, best teaching practices, and parent advocacy. She has also performed academic research and has written hundreds of articles on various education topics. Dr. Levy's research-based, multi-sensory workbooks are currently being used by schools and parents nationwide.

Works
Dr. Levy is the author of Strategies for Study Success, a 22-part student workbook series that helps students build skills in reading comprehension, writing, note taking, summarizing, and executive functioning skills.
She is also the author of the Flags and Stars Orton Gillingham student workbook program and the Flags and Stars multi-sensory math program.
Dr. Levy completed a five-year research study on helping students with learning disabilities develop stronger reading comprehension skills.
Dr. Levy continues to conduct academic research and speak regularly at national educational conferences as an expert in education.
