Knowledge Plus Tutoring, formerly known as KnowledgePoints, has opened its doors with a wide range of academic services designed to meet students where they are and help them grow with confidence.
Services include:
One-on-one tutoring
Knowledge Plus Tutoring specializes in academic tutoring for students in grades prek-12 using research-based, multi-sensory methodologies. After an initial evaluation, each student is matched with one of our learning specialists and an individualized tutoring plan is created for each student using the most appropriate techniques for their needs. They help students develop their reading, spelling, writing, math, and executive functioning skills.
Small group tutoring
Knowledge Plus Tutoring also offers small group tutoring. Students are initially evaluated to assess their needs and an individualized tutoring plan is created for them. They work in small groups of up to three students per group, offering a more affordable tutoring option for families.
Virtual tutoring
In addition to in-person tutoring, Knowledge Pus Tutoring offers one-on-one virtual tutoring catered to the needs of each student. Research-based resources and multi-sensory tools are integrated using a remote platform.
Special education tutoring
Knowledge Plus Tutoring specializes in helping students with specialized learning needs, including learning disabilities, ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and other related diagnoses. They use research-based, multi-sensory techniques, including the Orton-Gillingham method, to help students develop their academic skills.
Homeschooling
Another service Knowledge Plus Tutoring offers is individualized homeschooling. Students begin with an initial evaluation, and then a customized homeschooling instructional plan is developed to meet their unique needs using research-based techniques and a structured curriculum.
