New Academic Tutoring Service Opens in Riverview, Florida!

A new specialized tutoring service has officially opened in Riverview, Florida! Knowledge Plus Tutoring, formerly known as Knowledgepoints Riverview, is open and thriving - and we are excited to help even more students excel academically. We offer the following tutoring services to students:

One-on-one academic tutoring

Our specialty is providing academic tutoring to students in grades prek-12 using research-based, multi-sensory techniques. Students are initially evaluated to identify their academic areas of strength and weakness and skills that need development. We then put together an individualized learning plan catered to their needs, using the research-based methods most appropriate for them. The tutoring sessions can take place at our Riverview learning center - a warm, nurturing environment filled with
manipulatives, materials, and expert tutors - or at your home.

Home tutoring

For some families, traveling to another location for tutoring can be challenging. They might have other children or multiple schedules to manage. Some students prefer working in the comfort of their own home. At Knowledge Plus Tutoring, we offer individualized one-on-one home tutoring catered to the needs of each student. Students are initially assessed and then matched with one of our specialized tutors who will come to your home, armed with a plethora of materials, manipulatives, and even a
rewards program, all based on the student’s individual needs.

Special education tutoring

One of our areas of expertise is helping students with special education needs develop their academic skills. We specialize in dyslexia tutoring, dysgraphia tutoring, dyscalculia tutoring, ADHD coaching, executive functioning tutoring, autism tutoring, and more! We use a combination of research-based, multi-sensory techniques, including Orton Gillingham tutoring, to help students develop their reading, spelling, writing, math, executive functioning, and content area skills. We accept Florida’s Unique
Abilities Scholarship for this special education tutoring!

Small group tutoring

We also offer small group tutoring at our Riverview tutoring center. Students will be initially evaluated and a learning plan will be created for them, and they will work in a small group of up to three students per group. This offers a more affordable tutoring option for families.

Virtual tutoring

Knowledge Pus tutoring also offers one-on-one virtual tutoring for those who prefer that modality.
Many of our students like working in the comfort of their own room and prefer virtual sessions. We use research-based resources and multi-sensory tools that are provided through a remote platform. Virtual tutoring is a popular choice for many students.

Homeschooling

For some students, attending a full-time public school isn’t an ideal option. They may thrive in a smaller, more nurturing environment for schooling. With our homeschool program, students start with an initial evaluation and then we create an individualized homeschooling instructional plan to meet their unique needs using research-based techniques and a structured curriculum. We also provide homeschooling to students with special education needs, including those with learning disabilities such as dyslexia,
dyscalculia, and dysgraphia; ADHD; autism; speech and language challenges; and more.

We will also be offering a microschool for the 2026-207 school year!

Knowledge Plus Tutoring accepts Florida’s Step Up for Students Scholarship for tutoring. Let us help your child thrive with our individualized tutoring and homeschool programs.

Dear Dr. Levy, My son received an excellent report card. I can’t say enough good things about his EBL tutor. She has done a tremendous job helping him improve his reading and writing skills. Most importantly, she is wise and kind. She is always patient with him. Because of his tutor, my son writes with much more ease.
