Who can receive Step Up funding?
Step Up funding can help all K-13 public, private, and homeschooled students, regardless of income. Most students can receive at least one scholarship. To sign up for the Step Up for Students scholarship, families should go to https://www.stepupforstudents.org/scholarships/logins/ and follow the quick and easy progress of applying. Funds available
The amount of funding each child can receive varies a bit. The Personalized Education Program (PEP) offers roughly $8,000 per child per year, which can be used for tutoring, instructional materials, and other educational resources. The Unique Abilities Scholarship is for students with disabilities, and qualifying students receive an average of $10,000 per year.
